Biography

I graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, which has given me a very artistic approach to my design projects. I have also passed the NCIDQ, which is the professional standard for competency in Interior Design. As a Professional Member of ASID, and a Licensed Interior Designer in the state of Florida, I weigh my clients aesthetic,technical, and financial needs as equal priorities. With the ever growing emphasis on Green Design, I am also a LEED AP, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional , through the United States Green Building Council. I am also a GREEN AP through the Sustainable Furnishings Council. I have a varied background in the Arts, having worked as a theatrical costume designer, contemporary quilter,and have won an American Orchid Society Award for my Hobbyist display.I stay active in local charities,and enjoy teaching Interior Design seminars to the public. My professional focus as been on Residential Design and Commercial projects such as model homes, public condominium spaces, restaurants, and office spaces. I am also proud to be the President Elect 2011-2012 for the ASID Florida South chapter.
